Chidhakwa attacks Nhema

Mines Minister Walter Chidhakwa has accused former Indigenous minister Francis Nhema of abrogating his duties by failing to force mining companies to capitalise Community Share Ownership Trusts when he was still in charge of the ministry.
Chidhakwa made the scathing attack when he appeared before the Parliamentary Portfolio on Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment to give oral evidence on his ministry's role in ensuring mining companies honoured their cash pledges to bankroll CSOTs coffers.
This follows reports that five diamond mining companies in Marange had not yet made good their financial pledges to the Zimunya-Marange CSOT where they had offered $10 million each.
