Former champions Dynamos FC suffered its heaviest defeat on the opening day of the league in over 10 years.
Dembare was humiliated by current champs- Chicken Inn by 3-0 on Saturday.
Dynamos last tested defeat on the first day of the season in 2011 when they lost to Kiglon one nil.
The Saturday result was also the first defeat on match day one in 9 years to a team outside Harare.
They last fell to Eastern Lions in 2007.
