About US$16 million is required for the production of the remaining consignment of Compound D fertilizer for the Command Agriculture Programme.
Zimbabwe Fertilizer Company (ZFC) managing director Mr Richard Dafana says production and distribution of basal fertilizer under command agriculture is well on course.
Mr Dafana however revealed that production of the last consignment of Compound D for the programme has been affected by delays in foreign currency payment to the suppliers of raw materials.
The ZFC has been mandated to produce 40 000 tonnes of compound with Windmill churning out another 40 000 for the Command Agriculture Programme.
