Man's private parts crushed with stone over girlfriend

A MAN from Tshanke in Nkayi had to be rushed to a hospital after his girlfriend grinded his testicles with a stone in a fight over a girlfriend.
The court heard that Busani Moyo and Thando Nzimande were drinking at a night spot recently.
They were later joined in by another woman.
However, at around 1 am they argued about who would take the woman home that night.
At the height of the argument Moyo landed a fist on Nzimande, and a fight broke.
Moyo gave him no chance to respond hitting him with the back of an axe.
When Nzimande was down and out, Moyo further harmed him by grinding his balls with a stone.
This led to Nzimande suffering a lot of pain failing to walk.
In court, Moyo said "Your Worship, I was trying to defend myself from Thando as he wanted to stab me with an okapi knife".
Moyo is in custody up to September 11.
