Cellphone thieves in Hillbrow fair price robots along Twist street and Yeoville along Raleigh street and Kenmere are becoming dangerous to the community .
They usually go in half dozens or more than that. They wait for a robot to close then they check for cars with open windows then they attack motorists, take their belongings. Some times the do as if they want to assist with parking, then wait for a driver to open a window or a door then they attack. Other lie and point underneath the car that they is a leakage with the hope that the driver comes out of the so that they attack easily.
Most of those criminals are Zimbabweans and this paint a bad image to other Zimbabweans who have emigrated to South Africa due to economic push factors.
Such crimes need to be dealt with accordingly. The community forums for Hilbrow and Yeovile need to work with SAPS in monitoring the situation and arresting those criminals.
There are the same guys whom you meet in streets re-selling those phones .
Motorists please be alert when driving in those areas.
