Biti Got it Right on ZANU-PF!

Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) leader President, Tendai Biti, declared the supremacy and invincibility of President Robert Gabriel Mugabe and ZANMU-PF after the publication of the meticulous research carried by Mass Public Opinion Institute (MPOI).
President Mugabe was identified as the first choice leader and an outright winner in any elections which can be held anytime sooner. The research dismissed all other parties which include MDC-T, MDC-N, ZAPU and other smaller opposition parties as devoid of sufficient popularity to enable them to win any poll.
Biti got it correctly when he addressed his party supporters recently in Gweru where he made it clear that ZANU-PF was popular with the people because it meets peoples' expectations. This is not the first time that Biti has praised ZANU-PF's political prowess. Soon after the July 31, 2013 harmonized elections, he declared that his then party MDC-T, deserved to lose to ZANU-PF because the ruling party has a better agenda. He cited land to the people, project loans to youths, farming inputs and a vast array of other promises, while on a comparative basis, MDC-T offered virtually lip service to the electorate hence, the electorate denied it the vote.
Prior to the July 31 polls, MDC-T relied on mega-phonic tactics as a way of winning elections. They promised that they had the keys to cash that would turn-around the economy and improve everyone's lives. Unfortunately they got to polls with no practical measures seen by the electorate. So the voters punished them by denying them their essential votes, and eventually they slumped into an election collapse.
However, Biti declared that his PDP would not participate in the polls as a way of paving way for ZANU-PF to win the 2018 polls again. He is fully convinced that President Mugabe and his ZANU-PF should continue ruling since he is sure of their leadership prowess. Biti who is one of the most competent lawyers in Zimbabwe, is fully aware of the popularity of President Mugabe and his ZANU-PF. He is correct on this observation which comes from a learned lawyer.
It seems Biti is the only sane opposition leader that appreciates the dynamics of political matrix in Zimbabwe. The current opposition parties are devoid of any suitable alternatives that can replace ZANU-PF in power. His admission should knock sense in all the other opposition activists that thrive on sabotaging national interest.
