Mugabe the only problem, Ndebeles must shut up?

Such is the beer-hall opinion and wishful thinking that emanates from the beer-gardens of Mashonaland. This political idiocy thrives in great ignorance. It is a symptom of serious ideological famine. It asserts that Matebeles must suffer in silence and obediently take political orders from Mashonaland without a say.
According to this madness of the century, when people of Mashonaland say jump, the only question Matebeles are allowed to ask is, how high? We are forced to accept falsehoods that Mugabe is the only problem and that he started off as a good leader yet we know he stepped over Matebele dead bodies on his way to the state house. And that he works hand in hand with people of Mashonaland who are the pillars and happy beneficiaries of the oppressive system that he created.
We are aware that Mugabe and his henchmen authored the evil Grand Plan in 1979, way before they took over power from Rhodesians. It is the same evil Grand Plan that clearly spelt out how Matebeles were going to be killed through genocide. How their identity, languages, culture, dignity and pride was going to be murdered. How the policy of tribal discrimination was going to be used to politically, economically and socially incapacitate Matebeles.
Is the above Mugabe's "good leadership" that political leaders from Mashonaland like Tsvangirai, Simba Makoni, Joyce Mujuru and others so admire and repeatedly refer to as Mugabe's best days in office? What a bunch of genocide supporters masquerading as leaders!
Even Pastor Evans Mawarire who has become popular for breaking down in front of rolling TV cameras in sympathy with Zimbabweans who are abused by the police does not sympathise with Matabeleland genocide victims and survivors. He sings the same chorus from the same hymn book as other Shona leaders who spread lies that Mugabe started off as a good leader.
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your nuetrality," Once said the Cleric, Desmond Tutu. We do not know if the so called men of the cloth like Pastor Mawarire know this.
Political leaders from Mashonaland are not even neutral as far as injustices and Matabeleland genocide is concerned. They shamelessly support the perpetrators. Some of them were part of Zanu-pf leadership or Zanu-pf youth during the dark period and some made the crowds that were singing and dancing in support of the gory events.
This leaves us asking ourselves many questions as to what kind of people are these who celebrate the death of innocent human beings? What kind of people are these who ignore the cries of those who are suffering under oppression, do they have conscience at all?Do they know what good leadership is? Do they take us as part of them or they just want to use us as political braai sticks? Actions speak louder than words.
When masses of people, especially leaders, recognise a period of mass killings of innocent people and go on to publicly declare the same period of pain and immense suffering as an era of the perpetrator's good leadership, then there is no doubt that those people or leaders support genocide. It means they see it as justified.
It shows nothing but callousness, heartlessness and pure hatred. They are more cruel than the perpetrator himself. Under such circumstances victims live in danger of the second genocide. Urgent action should be taken by the victims to avoid more deaths of innocent people and more pain.
Asikho isidingo sokudlela evalweni njengenyoni Mahlabezulu thina singabantu njalo silelizwe lethu. Nxa kunje abadala bathi tshiya kwakhiwe. Let us leave Zimbabwe in peace not in pieces and restore the statehood of Matabeleland, that is the best thing to do.
We will not accept the "one size fit all political idea" or any other nonsense from Mashonaland now or in future. If the hatred of thieves and those who commit crime is justified what more that of killers of innocent masses? We do not hate the person but we hate brutality, wickedness, tribalism, corruption and oppression.
These political wolves who are dressed in sheep skin should be told here and now that Matabeles are not going to be used in the forefront of political agendas that are against them. The not so clever political deceivers from the other side of the Jameson Line border must be told here and now that Matebeles will never be used as springboards to political power in Zimbabwe anymore. The fools from Mashonaland must be told here and now that Matebeles refuse to be ruled by oppressors but want to govern themselves.
Mashonaland, fight your own battles and leave us to fight our own. We have The Republic of Matabeleland to revive.
