Dembare blames the referee for How Mine defeat

ARE Harare giants Dynamos turning themselves into very bad losers or is there a sinister plot against them? After losing to Buffaloes at Sakubva, the defending Castle Premier Soccer League champions claimed the Mutare side were helped by a bumpy pitch and atrocious officiating from referee Langton Chitsa.
Buffaloes won 3-2 at Sakubva to hand Dynamos their first defeat of the season although the Glamour Boys sailed to a 2-0 win over the same side in the BancABC Sup8r Trophy at Gibbo last Sunday.
But there was drama during their win in Triangle as coach Callisto Pasuwa was ejected from the bench in the second half after a clash with the referee Munyaradzi Majome.
On Saturday, Pasuwa managed to last the whole match but DeMbare claim they were let down by poor officiating by referee Hardlife Ndazi.
Dynamos could be hauled before a disciplinary committee after a section of their fans rained missiles on the field during their 0-1 defeat to How Mine at Luveve on Saturday.
Striker Simba Sithole struck in the 20th minute after getting to the end of pass from Timothy January to score the priceless goal as How Mine avenged their 0-3 defeat in the reverse fixture at Rufaro.
Dynamos team manager, Richard Chihoro, yesterday said Ndazi played a hand in their defeat against the miners.
"The referee certainly did not blow his whistle fairly when it came to us. A lot of decisions were going against our boys.
"We raised complaints with the fourth official but nothing was done and in fact the match officials threatened to send the coaches away from the bench," said Chihoro.
How Mine's victory was marred by scenes of hooliganism as fans threw missiles on the field and at one point Ndazi stopped the match after the hosts' bench had scurried for cover.
"We do not complain if we lose because that is part of the game but we raise some questions when referees appear to be aiding another team to get a result," said Chihoro.
"Our players were being fouled but nothing was being done most of the times.
"I think most of the decisions were going against us and the situation only changed towards the end when he started giving us fouls."
During the match against Buffaloes, Pasuwa was ejected from bench after questioning why the opponents were getting away with fouls while his players were being penalised from similar situations.
Chihoro claims rightback Morris Kadzola was elbowed by a How Mine player but nothing was done.
"Kadzola bit himself on the lip after he was struck by an elbow but nothing was done. By half time some fans had thrown some missiles because of the poor officiating.
"We do not condone the throwing of missiles but at times the referee should not operate like they have an agenda against us," said Chihoro.
Chihoro made sensational claims that there could be a shadowy plot to frustrate Dynamos in the championship race this season.
"We do not know if it is poor officiating or there is a plot to make us lose the race.
"Maybe there is another team in championship that is being given favours but in the end this does not help our football," said Chihoro.
How Mine have now beaten both Dynamos and Highlanders.
Coach Philani Mabhena was a happy man.
"We were expecting to get this result because we could tell their strength when we played them from the first leg.
"We deployed fast wingers and it worked for us," said Mabhena.
Harare City shot to the top of the log after their 2-1 victory over Hwange at Rufaro on Saturday.
The Sunshine Boys now have 31 points from 16 matches while Chicken Inn and Highlanders are joint second on 30 points and Dynamos are on 28 points.
