How Mine catapulted themselves to the summit of the log after winning the Bulawayo derby against Chicken Inn.

Chikurupati will spend the next 24 hours as log leaders after beating the Game Cocks 2-1 at Luveve Stadium.

"This was not Chicken Inn vs How Mine. It was Beefy vs Chicken Inn. I know all those boys, they can't defend," said How Mine coach Philani 'Beefy' Mabhena.

"I was fired unceremoniously. So beating them was personal. This was an early Christmas present," said Beefy.

"We won and we want to maintain the good run. This was a grudge match, I lost my job at Chicken Inn. So this was personal," added Beefy.

"We should've won the match. we missed about four clear chances," said Joey Antipas, the Chicken Inn coach.
