Fumes following Charlie Adam's transfer saga

Charlie Adam's father has labelled Blackpool a 'cheap-skate club' after rejecting bids for the midfielder.
The 25-year-old has been a revelation in the Premier League this season but has expressed his intention to leave Bloomfield Road this January with a number of sides chasing his signature.
Liverpool have seen an offer of £6.5million turned down while Aston Villa and Birmingham City are also understood to be monitoring his situation.
Adam's father, Charlie senior, has blasted the Tangerines and chief executive Karl Oyston, claiming there is bad blood between the two parties.
"Blackpool are such a cheap-skate club," he said.
"I don't even think this is about money. It's because Charlie took them to a tribunal over the bonus they owed him.
Pay-back
"This is their pay-back. They are saying 'you won't make anything out of this, we have got you under contract'.
"Liverpool's offer is 13 times what Blackpool paid for Charles. And they are turning it down? They have been more than compensated for him already.
"Mr Oyston has got to realise it is somebody's life and future that he is dealing with here. I think it is petty. This should be a time for common sense to prevail."
Adam arrived at Blackpool in August 2009 for a club-record transfer fee of £500,000 from Rangers.
Manager Ian Holloway is desperate to keep hold of Adam until at least the end of the season, in a bid to ensure the Seasiders remain in the top-flight.
However, Adam senior believes they will be able to survive without the Scotland international on board.
He added: "Blackpool have been looking at other players. They could do without Charlie."
