Cuthbert Malajila has returned to action for South African Premier Soccer League giants Mamelodi Sundowns after the Brazilians were able to register the Zimbabwean as a local player.
The Siya crew revealed on Friday that Sundowns completed the registration of Malajila for the 2017/18 campaign, however, at the time were awaiting an official confirmation from the Premier Soccer League.
The league released the official squad list for the 2017/18, however, the 31-year-old's name was not included on the team sheet on Friday, September, 29.
However, the player has since returned to action for the Masandawana side today, indicating that all has been finalised with the league. Malajila came on as a substitute for Sibusiso Vilakazi during the Brazilians' league encounter on Sunday.
Sundowns claimed a 1-0 win over Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership on Sunday, gaining the needed winning momentum as head coach, Pitso Mosimane's side look to go all out and challenge on the domestic front after being eliminated from the Caf Champions League competition.
