KAIZER Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has confirmed that striker Knowledge Musona is on his way back to the Absa PSL to rejoining the Naturena side.
The 24-year-old marksman's future has been the subject of speculation since he left for Germany at the end of June, with AmaKhosi making it clear that they want to keep him.
Now, the AmaKhosi boss has come out in public to reveal that Musona is indeed returning to South Africa for at least another season.
"We think everything is clear, Knowledge is on his way back. He will give us a few more options, another dimension," Baxter revealed after their 2-1 win over Black Aces on Wednesday night.
It became clear that Musona's chances of returning to the PSL were huge when Bobby Motaung said that they had struck a deal with Hoffenheim for the striker to rejoin Chiefs should he not get a team in Europe by July 31, 2014.
Musona is expected to complete his season-long loan move to the Soweto giants anytime from today, having struggled to find himself a new team in Europe.
The 'Smiling Assassin' as Musona is known, scored 16 goals in all competitions for AmaKhosi last season and finished the season as the club's top goal scorer despite a slow start to his second spell with Chiefs.
