Noticing that their players had failed to prove who is stronger, fans took it upon themselves to do that but unfortunately they resorted to violence to make their points known
Disturbing scenes were noticed after the match and FC Platinum fans had to jump the perimeter fence to enter the pitch seeking refuge as Highlanders supporters blocked exits and were throwing stones and missiles.
The power of numbers then worked for FC Platinum fans as they regrouped and retaliated by beating Highlanders supporters who fled before the police took control of the situation.
