Dembare in Division 1 sabotage storm

VICTORIA Falls-based Southern Region Division One League title hopefuls Amagagasi have accused town rivals Trumus of sabotage following the latter's move to take their players for trials at Dynamos.
Amagagasi are at the top of the league table with 22 points from eight games, one above second placed Bantu Rovers.
Sam Sibanda, the Amagagasi chairman, said they will be without the league's leading marksman with seven goals Nhlanhla Ndlovu and attacking midfielder Jimu Muli, who were sneaked out of Victoria Falls for a week-long trial at Dynamos by Trumus' officials.
Sibanda accused Trumus of being unprofessional in their conduct.
"We're aware that Muli is their player, but to lure him to Dynamos without our knowledge is a sign of disrespect by Trumus officials. Yes, the loan agreement stated that they can take the player for trials anytime, but they should have had the courtesy to let us know that the boy will be going for trials. We're also disappointed that they even took a player that they permanently cleared to us at the beginning of the year (Ndlovu) to Dynamos as well," said Sibanda.
The two players left the resort town for the capital on Sunday night after playing key roles in leading Amagagasi to a 2-0 win against ZRP Bulawayo.
Sibanda said despite Trumus' actions, they're looking forward to the derby against Victoria Falls Tigers on Sunday.
Trumus secretary-general Tawanda Guzha, who allegedly gave Muli the right to travel to Harare, said he was equally shocked as Amagagasi that Muli and Ndlovu are at Dynamos.
"I don't know anything. I only saw what you're talking about on social media. Actually, I'm waiting for Amagagasi officials to communicate to us how the players went without our knowledge," Guzha said.
Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa confirmed that Ndlovu and Muli were attending trials at his club.
"One Mutawu from Victoria Falls arranged for the boys' trials and the coaches are looking at them. If there are any issues to do with those boys, we're not involved at all," said Mubaiwa.
Meanwhile, Bantu Rovers are at home to Hwange Juniors tomorrow, while third placed ZPC Hwange will take on Bosso 90 at Chakona Stadium.
