SA based Chimurenga musician release album

South African based Chimurenga signer Berven Mashonganyika aka Sekuru Berv has released an right track album titled Chimurenga Revolution.

Born in Kadoma 25 years ago, Sekuru Berv grew up in Harare before moving to South Africa and is presently based in Durban."I started singing and writing songs at the age of 12 when I was at primary school," Sekuru Berv said.

He said, as the leader of the band, he composed all songs in the album.

"Chimurenga Revolution Band and it consist of 6 people. My album has received air play on ZBC and other top radio stations in Zimbabwe," Sekuru Berv said.

"I decided to do Chimurenga music after I realised that most young artistes are focusing on dancehall."

Sekuru Berv said he started doing  professional music in 2007 when he released  the released the single Mharapatsetsetse and Don't Give Me BP a year later.
