Molepolole Police are holding in their custody, two men and their sister who are alleged to have killed a Zimbabwean man for raping the woman.

The Voice newspaper reported that the deceased who is known only as Trish is alleged to have been on the police wanted list for the rape and unlawful wounding of the 32-year old woman on the 3rd of July.

The brothers aged 37 and 29, who cannot be named for the protection of their sister's identity, are said to have on Monday found out about Trish's whereabouts and they followed and located him at Gakgatla village.

They then took him to their sister's workplace and after fetching her they drove to her place with Trish.

The suspects told the police that upon arriving at their sister's place, Trish took out a plastic bag that contained a whitish substance which he swallowed quickly.

After swallowing the powder, Trish is said to have become dizzy and started foaming at the mouth before he collapsed unconscious.

The suspects then reported the matter to the police and Trish was rushed to Scottish Livingstone Memorial Hospital where he was certified dead.

Molepolole Police Station Commander, Superintendent Tawana Tawana, confirmed the incident and that the suspects are in custody. "At this stage I can't confirm if they actually killed him, but it is true that we have the suspects in our custody and we are investigating a case of murder," he said.
