HEALTH experts have said everyone has the potential of becoming super-spreaders of Covid 19 because due to the economic situation in the country people are forced to go from one place to another in order to make a living.
Ingutsheni Chief Executive Officer Nemache Mawere said it is very difficult to say which group of people are super-spreaders of Covid-19 because many people survive from hand to mouth type of life.
"So it becomes very difficult for people to stay in one place looking at the current economic situation in Zimbabwe," Mawere said.
Mawere said another challenge is that people gather for different occasions and from that, people are likely to contract the virus easily.
"They are people who gather for funerals, in schools children are likely to mix and mingle and they easily spread the virus to the elderly at home. Some wake up to go to market places and in buses people do not observe social distancing . Therefore it becomes very difficult to ask people to minimize movement," he said..
United Bulawayo Hospitals Chief Executive officer Narcissus Dzvanga said he is not in a position to comment on this.
"I cannot give you my personal opinion on such an issue but l will not dismiss the fact that l have come across such cases here and there," Dzvanga said.
