PERTH - THE husband and father of the four Australia crash victims has spoken about the unfathomable tragedy, saying it feels like "my heart has been taken out of me".

Bongani Moyo was WORKING in Zimbabwe when his wife Emmet and three children - Sibonginkosi Tahila (8) Sibusiso Blessing (5) and baby Sandulo - died when their small Hyundai Excel crashed into a 40-seater bus on the Goldfields Highway in Kambalda last week last Sunday.

"At the moment I'm really feeling a great loss," Moyo told Australia's Nine News.

"I feel like my heart has been taken out of me. You see they meant really my future, they were my hope, they were the purpose why I thought of living.

"I can't figure what my life will be like without them."

Moyo was told of the tragedy by a church pastor.

"I can't describe what I felt when I heard the news because I was just completely, it felt like I was, destroyed," he said.

The young family was on their way home to Kambalda West after attending a church service in Kalgoorlie.

The tragedy has shaken the tight-knit African community in Kambalda and Kalgoorlie hard.

A funeral was held in Perth last night so Moyo's Australian relatives could say goodbye.

Bodies were flown to Zimbabwe yesterday for a private burial.
