An employee with the Bulawayo City Council is in trouble after he assaulted a wake made during work following a dispute over the remarks made during their workers meeting.

Jacob Lusinga (56) appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya charged with assaulting Victor Sithole.

The court was told that on April 5 this year the two were at their work place at Centenary Park when they started discussing issues which were discussed during their previous workers meeting on April 4.

Lusinga was not happy about the discussion and he pounced on Sithole with open hands. Sithole reported the matter to the police leading to Lusinga's arrest.
