A Bulawayo maid was fired by her boss for allegedly flirting with her employer's husband, a magistrate heard. Out of anger Khethiwe Keneilwe Bhebhe, 25, launched a verbal attack on her former boss, Tinashe Mazarire, 29, of Ilanda, with a barrage of offensive text messages.
The messages contained vulgar language and unprintable insults.
Bulawayo magistrate Abednico Ndebele heard how between December 6 and February 6, Bhebhe of Burnside suburb sent offensive messages to Mazarire.
Prosecuting, Tafadzwa Mutsambiwa, said Bhebhe sent the offensive message using different cell phone numbers.
In one of the messages, Bhebhe insulted the complainant's mother using unprintable words.
"On December 6 at about 1.28PM, Tinashe Mazarire received a message from Khethiwe Bhebhe on her cell phone, which read: ‘you are just nothing but a hypocrite and devil . . ."
The Chronicle reported that Mazarire did not reply the message. Minutes later, Bhebhe sent another offensive message, which read, "With his short and uncircumcised p….s, I wouldn't let your husband f..k even my dog.."
On January 22, Bhebhe sent the complainant another message taunting her for "barrenness."
"If I was a retard, would your husband not be content with his normal barren wife . . . I hope one of your New Year resolutions is to perform and satisfy your husband sexually so that he doesn't get into other people's pants," read one of the text messages.
Ndebele convicted Bhebhe on her own plea of guilty to violating sections of the Post and Telecommunications Act. He, however, postponed sentencing for five years on condition of good behaviour.
