Heal Zimbabwe has said it strives to assist victims of violence so that they are able to access justice and requisite social services.
The trust said it has therefore assisted Hlongani Ncube (from Mwenezi) who was assaulted by Moffat Moyo (Zanu PF) to report his case to the police.
"Moyo was arrested and is yet to appear in court. In Chiredzi, HZT also helped Brighton Dzvova to report his case to the police (RRB no. CH127/17) for assistance after he received threats of violence from Hardlife Makuyana. Dzvova was threatened with violence for wearing an MDC-T political regalia in public," said the trust.
