Mthwakazi Republic Party has traced its borders with Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa among others as it engages in efforts to restore the Mthwakazi State.

Silwelilizwe Masiphula MRP's  South African official said Mthwakazi is fighting for the separation of Mthwakazi from Zimbabwe.

"In fact these are two separate states which joined together in 1923 without the consent of people from Matabeleland and Mashonaland. The

arrangements were done by white colonialists. Mashonaland was first to be colonised in 1890 and Matabeleland was then colonised in 1893 hence the disappearance of king Lobengula after a fierce battle at Gadade in Ntabazinduna between whites and Ndebele warriors where more than 6000

warriors of Lobengula perished," he said.

"BSAC came to attack Matabeleland, while accompanied by 652 Shona batsmen who worked in cahoots with whites to destroy Ndebeles. Our border between Matabeleland and Mashonaland is at Munyathi river in Kwekwe which was signed between king Lobengula and star Leander Jameson in 1891. Whilst Beitbridge border post was signed for in 1887."

He said Ramoquabane border in plum tree was signed in 1888 as well as the Zambezi Livingston border in 1888 , all these borders were signed for by king Lobengula.

"We are the only country in the world with two state houses one in Bulawayo and one in Harare, two reserve Banks one in Bulawayo and one in Harare and two high Courts , one in Bulawayo and one in Harare," he said.

"Konke lokhu kutshengisa sobala ukuthi uMthwakazi yisizwe esizimele. We are two separate countries, furthermore the government of Zimbabwe unleashed Gukurahundi between 1982 and 1987 which killed more than 20 000 Ndebele starting in Midlands that is in Munyathi river. Mthwakazi consists of more than13 tribes namely ; Kalanga, Tonga, Sotho, Ndebele, Xhosa, Venda, Nambya, Tshangani, Abasangwe, Lozi, Abasarwa, White Africans. Etc. Yet Mashonaland has not more than 5 tribes."
