Pastor consults Madzibaba over church funds

PERHAPS the miracle at His Life Ministries Pentecostal Church in Shurugwi is that $5 000 went missing and the church leader had to consult a Madzibaba.
Pastor Allan Takara was caught in sixes and nines because there was no vision given to him on who stole the church funds. But he suspected the money could have been taken by one of his flock, therefore, he outsourced the witch-hunting from an apostolic sect leader.
With the help of Madzibaba Emmanuel he still failed to locate the "global positioning system" (gps) of the money. A church source said, the pastor threw away suggestions from other congregants that he should involve the police.
"He was advised to involve the police but he shot the idea down saying it would paint a bad image for the church," said the source.
Strange happenings followed.
"He took all church staff members to the prophet's shrine in Zvishavane last week on Friday. The prophet gave everyone a concoction to drink saying it was meant to make the thief feel guilty and return the money," added the source.
The money has not been located and Pastor Takara refused to shed light.
"I do not talk to the media, especially about issues concerning my church," he said.
But Madzibaba Emmanuel confirmed helping the pastor's witch-hunt expedition.
