Businessman loses $10K to armed robbers

Eight armed robbers reportedly pounced on an Indian national's Wholesale and kidnapped him before robbing him of his car and money.
Information obtained from Mvurwi Criminal Investigation Department (CID) offices allege, Vinodchandra Rungnathji (75) popularly known as Golly was kidnapped at his Mutorashanga Estate in Mashonaland West at gun point and was ordered to surrender his car keys before being driven to his Wholesale in Mvurwi.
The robbers are further alleged to have ordered the businessman to open his safe and surrender cash amounting to $10 000.
Rungnathji was reportedly forced in his car after the robbery and they drove to 40kilometre peg along Mvurwi - Centenary highway where they jumped off the car and gave it back before varnishing.
Apparently, Rungnathji has been robbed of $4000 last year by his former employee Simbarashe Zema who is currently serving for his case at Guruve prison.
