Member's of the President Emmerson Mnangagwa's Presidential Advisory Council (PAC) are being bankrolled by the United Nations Development Program to continue advising him an opposition political leader has alleged.

National Patriotic Front Spokesperson Jealousy Mawarire said, "PAC is paid and the money comes from UNDP, any attempts at denying it won't work, simple!"

The statement caused one of Mnangagwa's advisors Dr Shingi Munyeza to respond that, "I don't receive a penny for any work I do for national service. Have never received and will never receive. I give towards needs in our community as they happen. My record is clear. You know better my brother, go fish elsewhere."

Commenting on the matter Constitutional lawyer Shephard Dube said the United Nations is complicit for abetting dictatorship.

"If the allegations by Mawarire are true then I am afraid that United  Nations is grooming and feeding a bloodthirsty dictator who drips fresh Zimbabwe blood, "Dube said. "This makes us question the motive of UN. We now have every right to conclude that Mnangagwa and Mugabe had full UN endorsement to implement the genocide that wiped Zimbabweans during the early days of the nation state. UN;'s involvement in funding Mnangagwa's advisors is a clear testament that Zimbabwean [eople are on their own in fighting against tyranny."
