Zanu-PF's Magna Mudyiwa wins Mudzi West by-election

Magna Mudyiwa of Zanu PF is now the Member of Parliament for Mudzi West after beating George Kawaza of the NCA.

Mudyiwa garnered 9 837 votes while Mr Kawaza had 107 votes.

There were 112 spoilt papers.

ZEC constituency elections officer Mrs Loice Masimu says the process started well at 7am and people exercised their democratic right to vote.

The by-election followed the death of Aquilina Katsande early this year.
