Phillip Sibanda known as the Air Marshall commander of wythenshawe fm in Manchester, UK.

Sibanda is a radio presenter for a local community radio in Manchester. He is also working at a bus company called Arriva North West.

When Sibanda prepares for his holiday in Zimbabwe, he tell his colleagues and friends that back home people are in need of clothing and it doesn't matter how old the clothes are. Sibanda hires a van and drives it around England collecting old clothes.

"I put clothes for all ages groups in plastic bags. This time I had to buy a van to take the clothes to Zimbabwe. I paid duty for the second hand clothes and with the help of a company called Toyota Zimbabwe in Masvingo they helped me to identify an orphanage called Bopoma orphanage in Zaka.

"We donated clothes to over 400 kids. I also donated to Masvingo general hospital's children ward and I went to my village in Filabusi where I grew up and I donated clothes as well.

This is Sibanda's second year of good work.

"This is the second year I have been doing such a thing. Last year I donated to my ex-work mates. This is my project which I have set my self. I'm going to Harare to have a charity registered. I wish everyone who lives abroad can do the same to any Zimbabwean kid who are in need. Sibanda is on Queens award for voluntary work with wythenshawe fm 97.2 in England.
