A NAZARENE Church pastor appeared at the Chitungwiza Magistrates' Court on Wednesday facing allegations of failing to pay maintenance and school fees for his two children amounting to $1 060.
Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Godfrey Unzemoyo, granted Donny Mauka $20 bail for the alleged offence.
The State is alleging that on January 18 this year, Ms Ntombizodzwa Vingirai took Mauka to the maintenance court to compel him to pay maintenance and school fees for his two children with effect from January 31 this year.
Mauka was to pay $250 per month and $270 per term for maintenance and school fees respectively.
He failed to pay the school fees for three terms.
The arrears have thus accrued to $1 060.
The trial continues on September 26.
