Woman in court after pulling hubby's privates

A Kuwadzana woman - Caroline Mwera (22) struck her husband with a brick on the head and pulled his privates for merely receiving a call from a suspected small house.
By pulling Carrington Alfanerti's genitals, she said she was attempting to forcibly take money from his pockets.
She pleaded not guilty for physical abuse when she appeared before magistrate Reward Kwenda.
She denied the claims saying she only struck him with a bottle during a nasty fight.
"I did not assault him from nowhere, he failed to give me an explanation of the call he had received from a lady I believe is his side chick.
"I could not stand that and we had a heated argument, we then started fighting, I then struck him in self-defence. I did not mean to hurt him" she said.
"I only pulled his short not his testicles, he is just trying to get me arrested".
Mwera will only know his fate on Thursday.
