Man lubricates daughters (11 months) privates, rapes her

A Dombodema man in Plumtree was in habit of smearing camphor cream and petroleum jelly on her 11 month old daughter and niece private parts before raping them.
He said it by smearing the cream he was reducing pain before abusing them.
He would occasionally rape the 11 year old, his step-daughter and niece aged seven and 10 respectively each time he was left with them.
The court heard that between March 2013 and May this year, the man had sexually intercourse with the step-daughter and niece before turning to the 11 year old.
The man who cannot be named to protect the minors would separately call the victims to his bedroom hut.
After lubricating their privates he put on a condom and raped them and later on threatened to assault them if they told anyone.
However, in May this year, his wife became suspicious after one of the kids crying incessantly when she went to fetch firewood.
She took her to Plumtree hospital for examination which revealed sexual abuse.
It was then that the man was arrested but he is denying the allegations in court.
