The leader of the Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe party Barbra Nyagomo has challenged Zimbabweans to put the nation's interest at heart than pursuing partisan politics.
"We must endeavour to continue to put our country and national interests first before party politics, race, religion or creed. Political maturity and tolerance must be exercised at all times," she said.
"The process of rebuilding, healing and reconciliation is not going to be an easy ride. There will be mountains and valleys for us to cross before we can get all citizens to have minimum acceptable living standards, eradicate poverty, injustices and inequalities. But we can never underestimate the power of human spirit and resilience Zimbabweans have shown during these challenging times."
She said together as Zimbabweans people need to sit down to formulate strategy, policies and goals to get the country back on its feet.
"We all have a part to play lets stop shouting from the fences and from afar, engage the govt,be solution focused and be part of the solution not problem.Together we are a strong force," she said.
