Do false Prophets exist?
01 Jun 2017 at 10:25hrs | Views
Some people have that Something special that sets them apart. Then are the few God sets apart to reach nations-like Biblical Abraham, Joseph, Elijah, Paul. The twentieth-first century has brought us several of these God chosen people and also wolves hiding in this God chosen vessels anointing. We have the God chosen vessels called of the Lord raised in our generation to declare the word of God with great power and anointing. Do false prophets exists. Only the word of God can differentiate the true ones and false prophets. There are a lot of series of events happening today in the body of Christ ranging from who is a fake and true man of God. The selling of holy water, anointed oil, anointed brooms, anointed soap, anointed underwears, anointed pens, anointed toothbrushes, anointed pillows, anointed handkerchiefs etc. Another issue it's of the anointed kiss where a pastor in SA kissed a woman to bring healing. Some pastors are charging exorbitant fees for specific prayers/ to have one on one. A prophet speaks to God on phone. My question is still hanging. Do false prophets exists and has the gospel in the 21st century been commercialised or its ignorance to follow the steps of the word of God.
First, let me explain on the anointing.
The purpose of the anointing is there to give the strength of God in Man and to do the ministry of God. What is happening today is people are looking to the Spirit to do something miraculous that the Scripture states we already have. What really breaks the yoke or any kind of bondage or habit of sin in our lives is to simply obey and walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh and one will find freedom and have a non-guilty conscience. This is something you need to do on your own you can't receive it from someone else. This anointing that was God himself, was once reserved only for kings, priests, and prophets of Israel in the Old Testament. It is now for everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is not for an exclusive group of leaders. What was on the outside as a physical symbol is now a reality on the inside because of the New Covenant. This anointing is our seal (Eph. 1), being "in Christ" makes us all anointed. There are not some anointed and others not. The Bible says God will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask (in other words those who want to do His will and be in service to Him He will continually fill). He did not say go to this preacher or that one to receive it. Biblically we find Paul was anointed in prison just as he was when he was free. Jesus was just as anointed suffering on the cross as when he walked in His ministry. The day you received Jesus, God deposited the same power which raised Jesus from the dead-John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Not the anointing in and of itself but God's Word when we live by it. This is directly linked to Jesus saying, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36). Heb 2:14-15 "Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." We receive the "anointing" when we are born again, we are then told we are new creatures. We may not always act like this but we now have the ability to walk in freedom, 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new,"Rom. 8:2-4 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
The gifts of God are without repentance.
Truly some of them are gifted in miracles but it's not a green a light to do what you want. Why all those anointed materials are being sold in the church. Something anointed it's not for sale. James 5vs14 mentions the use of oil. But was it for sale. Yes, the Apostle Paul used aprons and handkerchiefs to do miracles and did he sell at the end. Why men and women of God selling all these essentials? The majority of the believers are now doing without this anointed mantles and have converted them into idolatry and hero worshiping the man of God.Most churches are no longer God's sanctuary but the occult alters. As long you shift Jesus attention in the church into your own believing its occultism. Beware some of the mantles will attract marine and water spirits into your life. The anointing is worth more than price tag when an anointing material has a price tag automatically there is a certain spirit not of God behind it. I know God speaks with His servants for specific instructions. Is it an instruction from God to sell these anointed materials and charge fees for one on one prayers with the man of God. If it's an instruction from God give for free. We have some indigenous apostolic churches who believes in objects, water etc on their healing sessions and you will never hear them mention the name Jesus. They usually call Aaron, Moses, Elijah, Michael and some love to associate with water eg going to rivers to perform cleansing rituals and its invoking marine kingdom. Jesus was the final alter for rituals and He took everything on the cross. Some churches have turned into business enterprises and professionalism and certain click is welcomed. Some churches call themselves churches while they are under operations of occultism. The church follows the word of God which is the Bible and the word of God allows one man one wife. Why do we have some churches allowing its members to marry many women and is it biblical? Let's respect the right of a woman. There is an error under the sun. The church as a whole let's regulate and go back to basics of the true word of God. Let's not wait until the government regulate the church.
My heart bleeds for the depleted body of Christ.
There was a pastor who one day heard that there is another man of God called apostle and this pastor said I want to be called that also and he called himself Apostle, then heard another man of God saying I am a prophet and he said I want to be called that also and he called himself a prophet. Then one he met another servant of the Lord who is an evangelist and he called himself that also and he came across two men who one was a church elder and the other a deacon and he said I want to be called those also at the end of the day when he was asked who he was, he said I am an apostolic prophetic evangelistic elderly deaconed pastor. You have to know that God is not impressed by our title. God want you to have a loving servanthood heart towards his people. People are badly hurting in church and they are not looking for titles but they need solutions. People are looking for solutions, not titles. Don't complicate the gospel. Finally, the devil is taking advantage of the confusion and disunity in the entire church as a whole. We have genuine men and women of God whom God is using mightily who need only to go back to the truth of the gospel.
