#OneLove Campaign invade Zaka ahead of the much anticipated harmonised elections.

The Campaign under the #OneLove, an initiative by MDC Alliance Principal, PDP President Tendai Biti and MDC-T National Youth Secretary-General Lovemore Chinoputsa have descend heavily in Zaka Central Constituency in a bid to conscientize the electorate in esteem the preparedness for the fast approaching 2018 Plebiscite and mobilize every reminant potential registrants to go and register to vote. Confidently #OneLove further welcomes the able and undoubtedly leadership of President Nelson Chamisa to the party and the Alliance.
The campaign is utilising all networks and increased social activities to encourage registration and engagement in allurement for MDC Alliance votes. Using the concept of ‘loss aversion', the campaign highlights the importance of a vote as an individual voice, and the risk of compromising this by not registering or voting. The Campaign further call for peace as it urges political players as they go out to seek votes, to do not divide Zimbabweans or incite the youths to fight. Zimbabweans are smart people and they will elect leaders based on their commitment to development.
The Campaign took positive note of various voter mobilisation and information programmes undertaken throughout the country in order to enhance participation and encourage voters to make an informed choice, by MDC ALLIANCE and various CSOs in mounting civic and voter education programmes which went a long way in mobilizing eligible voters to register. The campaign has put in place all essential apparatus to harness specifically for the MDC Alliance Presidential votes in the looming 2018 elections.
#OneLove Campaign note the need for political maturity as a vital part of young people's awareness of the importance of voting, therefore Citizens aged 18 years and older are encouraged to register to vote. If you vote, you can participate and have a say in how your future should be shaped. Your vote is your ticket to a better life. The campaign is expected to spread to other parts of the capital and ultimately the whole country.
