Can we say our Army is one of the best in Africa?

One thing I observed long ago is how my compatriots will boast in many areas, be it in education, sport ,hard working ethics.Does this sound familiar? It even extends to, yes, our Army or security agencies. lt beats me what criteria is used to come to this conclusion .

Last weekend events have made me revisit this unconcluded topic. I am referring to the explosion that rocked at White city stadium, I will not delve into the motive of the attack. People have concluded depending on whose side you are .The video which circulated on social media is rather interesting for it exposed a lot of things. On the video one' can see the Army guys, heavily armed for their mission of protecting the Junta leader, ready for any eventuality one would presume. The army guys are seen taking a "Usain Bolt" flight away from danger just like other people l presume to be security details. Our brave Army running away oh man .Are they not supposed to die for their leader ?

This is one main principle, a body guard has to risk his life for subject under their protection. In Zimbabwewe all know how intimidating these guys are, now I know they show force to the innocent unarmed civilians. ln face of danger they are nothing but lily livered chaps who are ready to run far away from danger !

Zimbabwe people know from experience how these men in uniform pretend to be machomen. All along people have been put under fear by people whose only power lies in the guns they hold or conceal under their jackets. From now on please no more bragging about our strong Army. The videos circulating just show about that they are just like us, fearing for their lives and ready to do the "Usain".
