Is Econet trying to force us to buy Facebook bundles

4:24pm, Mar 9 - ‪+263 8* *** ****‬: Dear editor, Allow me to express my views on one of the country's leading mobile operator Econet. Econet has data bundles for social networks such as Whatapp, Facebook and for the browser Operamini. If one buys the Operamini bundle they are not able to access the Facebook website even though the Operamini browser is capable of directing one to the Facebook page. I think its a deliberate ploy buy Econet to prevent their subscribers from accessing the Facebook page through the Operamini bundles. I think they are trying to force their subscribers to buy the Facebook bundles to access their Facebook pages. This is totally gross and unfair for a company such as Econet to stoop that low. Why are they blocking their subscribers from accessing Facebook from the Operamini browser through Operamini bundles? Is it because they want to fleece people of their hard earned money by forcing them to buy Facebook bundles? We need a good explanation from the Econet management or from Strive Masiyiwa himself.
