Ajax Hotspurs Under -18s continued their dominance over F.M.H Academy with a masterclass display that left supporters asking for more. In a match where the log leaders F.M.H needed to win to maintain their standings but The School of Excellence had other ideas as they dominated their adversaries with man of the match Chrispen Machisi running rings around the home side's midfield which he reduced into rank armatures. Ajax dominated early as exchanges and their persistence paid off when Divine Lunga ran through a static F.M.H defence to finish off a well weighted cross into the box by hard working Douglas Jeremiah.

This was the tonic that F.M.H Academy needed as they upped their game in search of an equaliser. The ever dangerous Bright "Nyonyo" Dzowa began to impose himself into the game and his dangerous delivery into the box caught Ajax Hotspurs defence in sixes and sevens and when Pride Moyo pulled the trigger the ball took a deflection of Frank Muzi's hand leaving the referee Basvi with no choice but to point to the spot. Up stepped Bright Nyonyo Dzowa who dispatched his spot kick to the west while Vincent Chidembo dived to the east.

That was the Tonic the two teams needed to display top of the range football with action swinging from one end to the other. Prince " Mpinju" Hlabangane turned his marker inside out but a timely block by Tarven Mabhena denied the lanky striker the opportunity to give his side the lead. However Ajax Hotspurs could not be denied again when a mazy run from the left wing saw Jeremiah pull the trigger but the goalkeeper spilled the ball to Jeremiah who tried to dribble past the keeper who hacked him from behind. Basvi pointed to the spot and Chidembo too the responsibility to take the spot kick sending his opposite number airbone but the power behind the ball prevented him from saving the penalty at the death.

The second half saw both teams play with caution but F.M.H had the best effort to draw level but either found Chidembo at his best or Muzi clearing from the line. 2-1 it ended and F.M.H. were once again downed by the Mpopoma based side.

After the match F.M.H Academy chairman France Ndlovu applauded the team and said it shows that there is great potential within his team. He bemoaned lack of sponsorship for the Junior league.

In the under 14s the two teams drew 1-1 and Ajax Hotspurs under 16s were 2-0 victors.
