Highlanders say they have learnt lessons from their 2-1 defeat to Caps United in the Bob@91 Cup and will not repeat the same mistakes against How Mine in the ZNA Charity Shield semi-finals on Sunday.

Highlanders FC gaffer Bongani Mafu says his boys are not afraid of How Mine whose line up on paper appears intimidating.

Chikurupati have on their books seasoned campaigners such as Tawanda Muparati, Charles Sibanda, Kuda Musharu among others, but Mafu says his charges have learnt their lessons from the defeat to Caps United and will not fall on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Highlanders have stripped Ariel Sibanda of the captaincy which has been given to Felix Chindungwe.

The technical team is confident the move will ease pressure on Sibanda so that he can concentrate on goalkeeping.

The winner of Sunday's match will face either Dynamos or Caps United who lock horns in Harare in the other semi-final.

FC Platinum who demolished Caps United 6-nil in 2014 at Mandava Stadium, are the defending champions.
