Bulawayo giants Highlanders say they are ready to tackle perennial rivals, Dynamos in an epic premiership match set for Rufaro stadium this Sunday.
Bosso last beat the Harare giants in a league match in 2006 when they won the league title under the guidance of Methembe Ndlovu.
Since then, several Bosso coaches have turned up and all have fallen to Dembare in both home and away matches.
Highlanders coach, Bongani Mafu said they have been working on the mental strength of the squad not to dwell on the decade long failure but look to beat Dynamos at their own backyard.
He added that despite injuries to some players who include Gabriel Nyoni, Takunda Mutanga as well as Mthulisi Maphosa who will require a late fitness test, all the other players are raring to go.
Bosso go into the match stuck at an unfamiliar eight position on the log standings with 19 points after 13 matches.
They will take comfort in that their old nemesis has also not been fluid under David Mandigora and are placed third on the table with 23 points, 6 behind leaders, Chicken Inn.
Dembare drew their last three matches against Tsholotsho, Triangle and ZPC Kariba.
In another interesting premiership fixture set for this weekend, Harare City and Caps United clash in an encounter in which both sides will be eagerly hoping to cement a position in the top six.
Harare City and Makepekepe are level on 20 points in the log standings, and the latter hope bounce back from an off the field blow of losing coach Mark Harrison who unceremoniously quit last week.
Other fixtures:
Chicken Inn vs Dongo Sawmill
Tsholotsho vs Flame Lilly
FC Platinum vs Buffaloes
Whawha vs Chapungu
How Mine vs Hwange
Triangle vs ZPC Kariba
