The 2O12 Castle Premier Soccer League opened Saturday with 11 goals and a red card but with no upsets.
Hwange and newboys Quelaton at the Colliery played to a seven goal triller. But the coal miners prevailed by 4 goals to three.
The result saw Hwange take an overnight lead on the log table. Proud Zireni got a red card. Last season runners up FC Platinum beat Black Mambas 3-1 at Morris Depot.
There were two goal less draws in games featuring Chicken Inn and Gunners at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo and Motor Action versus debutantes Harare City at Motor Action Sports Club.
