London - Expelled ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema has said that he together with others are going to remove current president Jacob Zuma from power in December.
Speaking from London, Malema told the BBC news service that Zuma has failed and so will be removed in a few months' time.
"When you are a cultural activist and you are elected the president of the country you cease to be a cultural activist and become the president and you do everything else it takes to be a president, but he has failed to live beyond himself for the sake of the office," he said.
When asked if he still believes he has a place in the ANC Malema replied stating that he is returning in December after removing Jacob Zuma.
"I am coming back to the ANC in December (2012) once we remove president Zuma because we are going to remove him and then I will walk into that conference and shake his hand and proceed to occupy my rightful seat," he said.
