Gwelutshena Primary receives over 20 computers from AFZ

The leadership of the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) has paid a visit Gwelutshena Primary School where they handed over 20 computers.
Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development Minister and Nkayi North member of the House of Assembly, Cde Sithembiso Nyoni has called on parents to ensure that they prioritise the education of their children and urged schools to put the computers to good use.
She said a new donor has been identified which has offered to build additional infrastructure at Gwelutshena,Sikhobokhobo and Ngwalathi Secondary Schools.
Cde Nyoni added that another donor has been identified which has offered to assist in the construction of three clinics.
The Minister of State for Matabeleland North Province, Ambassador Cain Mathema expressed gratitude to the Air Force of Zimbabwe for taking into consideration the needs of the Gwelutshena community.
AFZ chief of staff supporting services, Vice Air Marshall John Nzvede said the computers were sourced by the AFZ Charity Fund from the Ministry of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services.
He said the donation is being done in line with government's thrust to promote the uptake of science subjects in schools.
