7.1-magnitude earthquake jolts Alaska

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake jolted off Alaska's Aleutian Islands Friday, the U.S. Geological Service reported.

The quake, which occurred at 10:55 GMT, was centered southeast of Atka, Alaska, said the USGS.
