Mugabe to rule till he dies

President Robert Mugabe will rule Zimbabwe until he dies, a leader of Johanne Masowe eChishanu Apostolic Sect, Madzibaba Benjman has declared.
"President Mugabe was prophesied by an angel of God to lead the country until his death.
"Therefore there is no need for you to waste the country's resources campaigning, leave him to lead. No one will remove him", Benjamin told a Bikita West Zanu PF rally on Wednesday.
Mugabe has been in power since independence from British colonial rule in 1980. He has avoided naming a successor or laying out plans to retire.
He once joked that he would rule until he turned 100.
The absence of a clear successor has sparked infighting, including verbal exchanges on social media in recent weeks between factions angling for his position.
