Flip-flopping Sipepa-Nkomo officially dump Biti

Flip-flopping Samuel Sipepa-Nkomo today officially dumped Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Nkomo, a former PDP vice president joined Zimbabwe People First.

Speculation about Sipepa-Nkomo's planned defection surfaced last week.

He is said to have been promised the vice president post by Joyce Mujuru.

However, Sipepa-Nkomo denied that he is eying the top post but joining Mujuru was but was an opportunity to "enhance chances of dethroning the rogue regime".

Said Sipepa-Nkomo "It's imperative we don't become blind with loyalty and  pride not to decipher stubborn truth when something is unworkable".

On its twitter account ZimPF said '... He says he wasn't offered a position but came to join the party".

PDP has been rocked by defections recently.
