MDC-T Vice President Hon Elias Mudzuri on Friday handed over house keys to Wellington Chinyanga, a former Harare province driver, who was shot in the spine by a CIO agent at Harvest House in 2003.
The house was built by the MDC-T Veterans Activist Association.
Chinyanga has since been confined to a wheelchair since the incident.
This is part of efforts to take care of survivors and victims of political violence.
So far, four houses have been handed over to survivors in Masvingo, Mashonaland West, Bulawayo and Harare.
The Association has also managed to place tombstones on some of our late MDC-T members and donate clothing, blankets and food stuff to some survivors of political violence since the formation of the party to date.
