A political analyst Pedzisai Ruhanya has said the ruling Zanu-PF has defeated the opposition at the level of ideas and advised the opposition that they should know that their constituencies are not the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank.
He said Zimbabwe's opposition in total, without exception champion and capture interests of the Breton-Woods institutions not the livelihood questions of our people.
"Zanu Pf has defeated them at the level of ideas. The opposition in Zimbabwe should know that its constituencies are not the IMF, World Bank and donor agencies," he said.
"They have tea and biscuits with bureaucrats in these institutions and upon return to Zaka, Muzarabani and Plumtree - Zanu PF has drank scuds and illicit brews with the ordinary people and the constituency and power is gone then you start crying foul! Violent yes Zanu PF is; but largely the opposition is a group of lost individuals."
He said take the extreme left position and be with the PEOPLE especially in 67% of the population; RURAL areas.
"Don't spend time embracing and hugging ambassadors in the city over dinner, coffee," he said.
