Body of newborn burned with garbage

A Chitungwiza resident reportedly discovered a body of a newborn baby dumped in garbage on Thursday.
The resident discovered the body while burning the garbage.
Residents of Zengesa 4, Nehanda road flocked to see the grave sin before summoning Makoni police.
A police officer at Makoni told Bulawayo24.com that the body was also burnt in the process.
"An infant was identified in Zengeza 4 among the garbage which was being burnt by a resident.
"The infant was also burnt in the process before we attended the scene," revealed the police officer.
According to sources close to investigations, they suspect that the dumping was done by one of the hookers.
"We suspect the crime was committed by one of the hookers or domestic workers as they fear that babies jeopardize their work. "
