A WARM clap, series of punches and beatings have landed former Highlanders footie star Graham "Grazzo" Ncube in the dock.

Ncube did the "Irk Turner" on his girlfriend - a beauty model Belinda Mupinga because she was allegedly three timing him.

Accusations against the 28-year-old footballer arose on 23 October at around 9pm when he picked up an argument with Mupinga at her place in Mzilikazi suburb.

It was proved by the court that at the height of the altercation Ncube lost his temper after Mupinga who had also refused to give him back his cellphone told him that he should not be possessed.

Ncube, the court heard, in a fit of rage violently attacked Mupinga with fists several times all over the body.

Mupinga sustained a swollen eye as a result of the attack and reported the matter to the police, leading to Ncube's arrest.

Ncube did not however, waste the court's time when he quickly pleaded guilty to a physical abuse charge before Bulawayo magistrate Franklin Mkwananzi.

A remorseful Ncube however, begged for leniency saying he erred when he committed the offence.

His remorsefulness apparently paid off when the magistrate convicted him on his own plea and sentenced him to pay a fine of $200 or two months imprisonment in default of payment.

In passing the non-custodial sentence the magistrate took into consideration the fact that Ncube was a first offender and he didn't waste the court's time when he quickly pleaded guilty to the offence.
