Woman (20) gives birth, buries baby in shallow grave

A 20-year-old Mvurwi woman was arrested yesterday in Chidziva farm for allegedly burying her new born baby in a shallow grave.
Sources close to investigations allege Nyasha Mungoni (20) of plot number 19 Chidziva farm, Mvurwi buried her newly born baby and subsequently told the police she gave birth to a still born baby and decided to bury the baby.
We arrested the woman after neighbours found out that she had done away with her newly born baby.
The accused told us that she gave birth to a still born baby and was terrified to an extent of burying the baby on her own without telling anyone, said the source.
