Chikukwa appointed Zimbabwe World Peace Ambassador

The Zimbabwe chapter of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) has been launched in Harare, with the capital city's Minister of State, Miriam Chikukwa being cloaked as World Peace Ambassador.
11 countries were represented at the launch of the federation that seeks to promote peace at the family level and then cascade to national level
The World Peace Ambassador for Zimbabwe pledged commitment to promote peace as the country prepares for the general elections set for July or August.
The national chairperson of trustees for the foundation, Archbishop Johannes Ndanga reiterated that promoting peace is everyone's responsibility and called on journalists to promote peace through responsible reporting.
As preparations for the general elections get underway, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reiterated the need for political parties to be tolerant and ensure peace before, during and after the national plebiscite.
